Bring to Brunch: Best Banana Bread

My dear friend Nicole is quite the baker. Among her go-to brunch items, my favorite is her chocolate chip banana bread. I can’t remember where or when I first tried it, but I knew immediately that it was the best banana bread I’ve ever eaten. The bread is incredibly moist and Nicole is always generous with the chocolate chips. Chuck’s brother is visiting this weekend and we need a sweet in the house, so I made a couple loaves and will freeze the leftovers (yes, banana bread freezes well). Hope you like it, Michael!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients
3 medium ripe bananas (you want the peel to be pretty brown)
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
1.5 cups flour
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup walnuts (I left them out this time, but you should include them)
1 cup of chocolate chips

Directions
Mix all ingredients and bake in a loaf pan for approximately 50 minutes at 350 degrees F.
