Nashvegas, baby.

TWSF went on a little vacation to our friend Carmela's place in Nashville. I've been wanting to go to Nashville for awhile now and have been excited for weeks at the prospects of country songs playing at every bar. I LOVE country music, can't get enough of it. Chuck and Carmela on the other hand, not so much. They were good sports and indulged in my country antics.

Carmela took us to her favorite Italian sandwich shop, Savarino's Cucina, for our first lunch. We walked up to an adorable little house with a large front porch set with picnic tables, and ordered sandwiches loaded with Italian meats and cheese. The food was incredibly cheap, tasty and well constructed. Savarino's also offers an array of Italian pastries, so we ordered a few florentine cookies to-go. If you are visiting for dinner, I recommend bring a bottle of wine (BYOB allowed) and if the weather is as beautiful as it was last weekend, take advantage of their vast patio over looking...hmmm...just keep drinking that wine and I'm sure you'll start seeing scenery.
